This skeleton was made my 3rd year of college and was a semester-long project. I went to my school's anatomy lab to study their model skeletons: how the bones are wired together, how the body is proportioned, and the colors and textures. I downloaded an anatomical 3D modeling app, which I used to visualize the protuberances, twists, sockets, and how the bones fit together while I sculpted. I referenced studies measuring the average sizes of female bones and compared my own dimensions to them.

To ensure that the screws would be able to fit straight through the joins after being fired, I had to drill the holes while they were leather-hard and have them dry on rods. I used armature wire, steel wire, cut metal strapping, and screws to put the pieces together. The head is made from a wire frame and collaged in paper made from my biochemistry class notes.
